Fall 2008 session registration begins

Indoor soccer Fall 2008 session begins now. The season runs from October 20th and runs through December 21nd.
The cost is $595.

Winter Men’s O-30 league begins January 2nd, 2008
• Season start date: January 2nd, 2008
• Season end date: February 20th, 2008
• Registration deadline: December 26th, 2007
• Special request deadline: December 26th, 2007
• 7 game season PLUS tournament, games are 25 min. halves
• Game start times range from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
• First game schedule: Will be posted one week prior to season start
• Full game schedules will be available online after the first round of games (approximately 3 days later)
• Team FEE - $695, (ALL players must be a current LSC Member) All team fees must be paid in full prior to the first game of the season.

Soccer Moms League Forming
 A Soccer Moms League, to be played on Saturday nights is forming. Players of varying ages and skill levels can participate. Emphasis are on fun, exercise and friendship.

SOCCER
 Welcome to Lafayette Sports Center - Indiana’s premier indoor soccer venue.
This custom-designed, 60,000 sq ft facility provides a state-of-the-art indoor field using the latest synthetic turf system. Provision of a referee and score keeper to operate the electronic score board at every league match ensures your competition runs smoothly. Changing rooms, toilets & showering facilities are all provided as part of this first class sporting experience.
Our Center features the ProGrass synthetic turf surface, electronic scoreboard and bleacher seating.
Players of any age and ability can sign-up to play soccer at Lafayette Sports Center. We offer different skill levels competitions, both competitively and recreationaly. We offer Adult Leagues, Youth Leagues, Tournaments, FC Indiana Team Play and practice time, Camps, and Private and Small group Lessons. Many players from local colleges and high schools can also be found competing at Lafayette Sports Center. And any groups are welcome to rent the indoor field space for practice or play.

League play is organized into 5 Sessions per year: 1 Fall Indoor Session, 2 Winter Indoor Sessions, 1 Spring Indoor Session, and 1 Summer Indoor Sessions.
Registration is by team. Individuals in need of a team may register and place their name on the "Free Agent" List.

WINTER SESSIONS
Lafayette Sports Center has the largest "No Dasher Board" style field in the state. At 195’ by 110’ Lafayette Sports Center gives you fast play and more touches on the ball without giving up the space to move. Our four youth fields (110’ x 50’) are the perfect size for those younger players just learning the game, as well as adults who enjoy the fast style of play these fields provide. There is absolutely no substitute for touches on the ball when trying to develop players, whether they are 8 or 18. A team can go over formations and tactical approaches over and over, but will never reach their full potential if they cannot control a ball under pressure. Lafayette Sports Center provides the number of touches necessary for a player to truly excel at the game of soccer.
